Senior Leader Coaching with Julie Gillespie

In late 2020 I was offered to take up an opportunity in Queensland with one of our largest clients, the role took me from being a direct manager with 15 staff to having a team of 5 managers and over 150 staff! This brought with it fairly large challenges. I was introduced to Julie through her Mental Health First Aid work and began discussing my challenges and the immense work load it had. We fleshed out the idea of completing coaching with my team and commenced immediately!

Not only did her coaching help me to better manage my schedule but it gave me a great insight into my communication styles and how to use it with my managers to get the best outcomes.

I saw our team go from a group of individuals with their own sites to manage and goals they wanted to achieve, to being really effective group of leaders who could communicate effectively and share operational goals efficiently!

I would highly recommend people to go through this individually or with their teams!
